There are no special health requirements required to enter the Maldives unless if you are arriving from a Central African or South American country where yellow fever is endemic. In which case, you will be required to present an international certificate of inoculation against yellow fever

The Maldives is located at the top of the equator and enjoys warm weather all year round. Temperatures average 28°C. Storms blow through the islands between June and August and you can experience 8 hours of sunshine between November and April.
Male' is the world's smallest capital and one of the overcrowded cities. If you are visiting Male' you would see a large flag waving over the skyline. Take note of its location. Once arrived, head to the flag you saw while arriving and on the way you will see President's Office. If you walk straight, few minutes past the flag, you can find Fish Market and Local market. Then you can come back near the flag, around are souvenir shops. The mosque with large golden dome is called the Islamic Centre. There is a board with notice for tourists who wish to enter. Next the Islamic Centre is the headquarters of the Maldives National Defence Force. Taking pictures of MNDF is not permitted. Just ask a friendly local and you will find the national museum, old Friday Mosque and Presidential Palace in walking distance. There are many restaurants around if you need a snack or refreshment.

Maldives Visa Requirments
- Maldives offers online Visa (Electronic Travel Authorization) for 30 days, extendable up to 90 days in total for Indian citizens who present evidence of sufficient funds and who stay in a resort or hotel or present a letter from a local sponsor. Anyone staying more than 60 days without proper authorization faces heavy fines and deportation.
- A valid passport, along with return ticket and sufficient funds, is required for entry.
